Most are one speed now. They handle differently than cars, very "mushy". Watch turns, go slow until used to it. They do flip over if you are careless.

i have an 11 year old son and he drive his brothers ex-girlfriends four wheeler and i think he just has to be mature enough to drive a 4-wheeler
