How do you duplicate Pokemon in Pokemon heartgold?

In Platinum you can get the Pokemon ditto and duplicate it cause that's what I did and now I got 3 Palkias!

the guy above is talking crap. using a ditto it is possible to breed different types of Pokemon, either to get the multiple evolutions such as eevee or to get pre evolutions etc. you cant breed legendary Pokemon (which is why idiot above is lying) the only way to duplicate legendary Pokemon is through Action Replay. End Of.

When gamemakers made platinum, they fixed that glitch :O You can't breed legendaries!

You can... You need a male and female Pokemon of the same egg group ( if you don't know what that is Google it) and you put them both in the daycare. or you get a Pokemon that is in any egg group except No egg and genderless (or some name along those lines) and put it in the day care with a ditto. (ditto can be convieniently caught right outside the daycare. drydry

Go to the day-care lady and give her the Pokemon you want to duplicate (have an egg) and then put in a ditto, later(may take a while) talk to the day-care man and he may tell you that your Pokemon has had an egg, take it, walk around, eventually it hatches.

this works with Pokemon that are genderless or even a male, as long as they are with a ditto, otherwise if you put a (example:- female meowth with a male baulbasaur, then you will get baby meowths, no matter how many times you try you wont get a baby baulbasaur unless put with a ditto.

You cant clone Pokemon in heart gold just the original gold, But there's a way to make Pokemon by putting in a ditto and making your Pokemon mate with the ditto and then it will have an egg but when it hatches it will be a level 1. But this does not work on most legends. there's only 2 legends that I know of that u can make an egg with they are phione and manaphy.

You take your kanto starter Pokemon to the nusery and then put it in there with a Pokemon with the opposite gender. Get on your bike and ride up and down the road for a while. You will get a call to come get an egg. It will be the starter Pokemon. Leave with the egg but not the other Pokemon. Keep riding. When the egg hatches you will get another call for another egg with the same Pokemon. Keep doing this and you will have unlimited Pokemon.
