we have close the drive and afterward if it is safe to remove the pen drive
if there is another port you can plug the pen drive into, try that. That will elimitate the port as the problem. If you have another computer available, try the pen drive in another computer. If it works, it's not the drive.
to plug in your usb stick/pen/drive... (:
what to do while inserting my pen drive into the usb port its showing there is no hardware is detected.
There is no way to connect a pen drive to a DVD player if there is no USB port. Some newer televisions have USB ports installed on them already. If you have no USB port on either, buy a new media box or a new television.
my pendrive is just fine, but thanks for asking ;p
To revert and re-enable the drive access for removable USB mass storage device driver, change back the value data for Start to its original default of 3. The change will take effect immediately to block any USB mass storage device such as USB flash drive, USB key and portable harddisk from been used in the system, while still allowing hardware components to work properly via USB connection. The hack works in most Windows operating system such as Windows Vista, XP, Windows Server 2008, 2003 and 2000. For user who dare not to modify the registry manually, simply download the following registration entries file to enable or disable the USB drive. Extract the downloaded content in .ZIP format, and then double click on the .REG file to open and apply or merge the registry values to system. Download DisableUSBDrive.reg Download EnableUSBDrive.reg IntelliAdmin also has a free tool named USB Drive Disabler that automatically change the registry key value accordingly to enable or disable the USB drives on Windows 2000, 2003, 2008, XP and Vista system with just one click. In Windows Vista, the program has to be run as administrator. Select Disable USB Drives or Enable USB Drivers and then click on Apply to set the registry setting accordingly.
Pen drives consist of a small printed circuit board. This circuit board provides a sturdy base for the pen drive's form and also serves as a means to collect information. The microchip within it (the circuit board) is able to extract data with relatively low electrical power. It is based on old EEPROMS technology that allows writing and erasure processes. When a pen drive is connected to a USB port, it activates. Otherwise, it lies dormant. The USB port gives the pen drive access to information on a specific computer. Because most pen drives are formatted using FAT or FAT 32 File systems, they are compatible with almost any USB host/port on a computer. Data is read, transmitted or rewritten from a pen drive to a computer (or vice versa) after it is properly connected and manipulated through a program.
No, it is all stored on the pen drive.
when I plug in my pen drive to the computer and when i unplug the pen drive to the computer , how to know? When i plug in my pen drive it is not showing any signs of any pen...
If the pen drive is a standard USB drive then think about upgrading to a USB 2.0 drive, your computer must have a USB 2.0 port as well. USB 2.0 will transfer data much quicker than standard USB. Another option is to use a file compressing software to make the file smaller that you are transferring to the Pen drive. Smaller file, less to move. www.winzip.com
