QuickTime is Apple's media (video and audio) compression and playback technology that they first developed over a decade ago. The QuickTime Player is Apple's application that plays the media files. It is available for Macs and PCs using Windows. (See links below)
On Mac, you can find the default screen recording tool in QuickTime Player in the applications folder. Although its a free tool, it falls well short of what you expect from a capable software like a paid tool. Alternatively, you can make use of third-party screen recorders like ScreenRec. Just like QuickTime Player, ScreenRec is also entirely free but offers far more than the default application, like free cloud storage and continuous screen recording in HD quality.
I think you hold the control (CTRL) button and scroll the mouse at the same time to adjust the screen.
Yes. Quicktime is free to download. Simply Google: Free Quicktime download.
First, you need to install quicktime player, then you open quick time and click 'file' then ' new screen recording' then just follow the instructions from there! It's really easy.
There are a number of places where the QuickTime player can be downloaded. These include the Apple website and the QuickTime website itself. QuickTime-Download is also a site from which it can be downloaded.
If you have Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) then QuickTime can record the screen - select New Screen Recording from the File menu. Try Snapz or screenflow, both of them record screen for Mac. or check more at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Screencast
