How do you equip swords in wizards 101?

The "swords" are really called athames, and they just give you extra mana, energy, etc.; they don't really work like swords.

To equip:

1. Click on spellbook icon.

2. Go to backpack and choose the picture of a sword/athame.

3. Double click on the one you want to equip.
