Unless the question is inappropriate or contains personal information then the question can not be removed off of the site. When asking a question the disclaimer below where you submit your question onto the site says "Questions become part of the permanent, collaborative WikiAnswers database."
You should not be asking inappropriate or personal questions because that violates the site's Terms of Use, but if you do accidentally or you run across a question that should not be on the site then you will need to report it to one of the WikiAnswers supervisors who will deal with the question for you. Inappropriate questions can be trashed which hides them from view of users on the site, but only questions that contain personal information are allowed to actually be permanently deleted.
There is no way to erase your own history - or that of any other user - on WikiAnswers.
If you think your question was good, but it was erased, then drop a line to CommunityAdvisor @ WikiAnswers . com (no spaces)
You can't
erase question
Actually you can't. Even I tried it.
The WikiAnswers team can take an indefinite amount of time to erase useless or incomplete answers. Questions on WikiAnswers are answered by users of the website, not necessarily staff members. If you see a useless answer, remove it or flag it so that other users can see that the answer needs to be improved.
Well, you cannot delete a contribution 'point' from your bio page, but you can contact a supervisor to delete a message, question, etc. But you may not erase an answer for a question, because that's known as 'blanking' which is against WikiAnswers Rules.
When somebody answers a question and you think it is not true or not enough information, then there is a orange button below it that says improve answer. Then you can erase that answer or write below it. If you have a suggestion or comment on WikiAnswers, you can post it to the Community Forum. These forums are read regularly by staff as well as the community.
