Provide a test that covers the relevant material for truck drivers.
All of the good ones, where the work is interesting, the pay is decent, your body can keep it up for more than a few years, and there are even better jobs that you can get promoted into if you stay clean and get things done. Even truck driving requires reading and math skills.
I will evaluate all my math homework.
evaluate means to figure out the value of something
Evaluate when m = 30.5 kg and k = 3.5 m
The word evaluate simply means 'find the value of...' For example, if asked to evaluate 23x4, the answer is 92.
Evaluate: -7 - 8
That basically means to calculate.
That basically means to calculate.
i think it means to check your answer
In math evaluating is where you simplify an expression as much as possible. For example to evaluate 5+2 you simplify it so it is 7. To evaluate 5x+3x+4y you simplify it to 8x+4y.
The evaluate a algebraic math expression you first must substitute a number for each variable. Then you must perform the operation in the correct order.
Driving a semi-truck involves a lot of math on a daily basis. Calculating how many miles the trip is and how much time you have to get there, the hours on duty for the day, and the total hours on duty for the week. There is also the weight of the load versus the weight distribution on the trailer tandems for different states' bridge laws. Then there is the bookkeeping end of it, which includes how many cents per mile the driver is paid and any reimbursements for the trip. If the driver is an owner/operator, there is even more math involved with the bookkeeping. Taxes, fuel, maintenance and/or repairs, any unloading fees and any broker fees. This is just a small part to keep the driver within the laws and regulations, and for everyone involved to be paid.
