Best Answer

One option would be to use menstrual cups.

Menstrual cups are internal like tampons but safer and more hygienic so can be worn for 12 hours, including with any flow and overnight without need to alternate with pads. Cups are more comfortable than tampons or pads and don't leak like tampons or pads.

You think you will be on your period for spring break what should you do?

Best choice could be to wear a tampon but, if you don't feel comfortable with that then you could wear a pad with your swim suit and just hang out or tan.

My class is going to a swimming pool and I'm having my period during then. I don't feel comfortable wearing a tampon. What should my excuse be?

You don't need to have an 'excuse' just tell your class and teacher you're on your period - being female is not something you have to hide! The sooner you get past this idea that your period is a big shameful secret the easier your life will be! If you don't feel comfortable using tampons there are other options like menstrual sponges, menstrual cups, or softcups that you can use too.

Can feel a stuck tampon in your stomach?

No. The tampon is right at the opening of the vaginal entrance - it can not reach your stomach. And even if it could it would be too small to feel. You have both ovaries and uterus and intestines but I bet you can't feel them. A tampon is smaller.

When you are on your period does it feel like you have peed on yourself?

Not really. There are time if not using a tampon that if you cough or laugh or stand from sitting it can feel like its streaming out but you will be having a heavy period for this to happen, so in a way, like a peeing feeling but not from the area where pee comes from. If you go through this and dont want to use a pad a tampon will help in not feeling this gushing feeling.

Is a girl allowed to swim during her first time of puberty?

Do you by any chance mean your first menstruation? Because puberty is ongoing until you are around 18yo and does not prevent you from living at all. If you got your period though you might feel more comfortable not swimming. If you prefer swimming you have to wear a tampon.

Why would a tampon feel uncomfortable after you unspread your legs?

If you can feel the tampon of feel uncomfortable once you have closed your legs then the likelihood is that the tampon isn't inserted high enough. The first few inches of your vaginal canal are narrower than further-up in the vagina, if not inserted far enough the tampon will sit in this area and as the vaginal muscles push together they would push against the tampon. This area also has more nerve endings so even if there is no discomfort you are still more likely to feel the tampon if it's here.

When do I insert a tampon which you're not supposed to feel but I do and is that bad?
