Fill your tank all the way up. Go as far as you can until empty. Divide distance gone by gallons in your tank.
You don't have to run out of gas to check your mileage, just write down your mileage or reset your trip odometer when you fill up, don't top it off, just stop when the pump kicks off, the next time you fill up divide the gallons used into the miles traveled, I keep a record in a small book in my glove compartment to keep track of mine so I know when something is causing a loss of mileage. Mine is a 93 4.3 and I get between 18 and 21 miles per gallon on average.
yes
More fresh air mixed with the gas. Better performance.
If it is a 4.3 then it will get around 17 street and 21 or 22 highway
Startoff and brake to stop slower
it will help preformance more than millage
Michelle Millage is 5' 4".
The gas mileage for the 2009 Chevrolet is 27 mpg for city and 35 mpg gas mileage for highway. It was rated as one of the cars with the best gas mileages by Bloomberg.
It depends on your gas millage. So, it depends on what you are driving. It could be 14 gallons could be 80 gallons.
Michelle Millage goes by Insatiable Gypsy.
Change the air filter and spark plugs, and try to drive at a constant speed.
re-ask the question as I don't understand millage.
The gas millage is directly dependent on how you drive the car. If you take off and stop suddenly, you gas millage will run between 15.3 and 17.2 mpg. If you take off and stop slowly and you don't force the car and engine to do a lot of work, i have seen up to 21.2 mpg. Mind you this in on the 1999 to 2004 models. I believe the 2005 to 2007 is about the same though.
