Resistance is measured in Ohms with an ohmeter.
DC current... amps volts omhs
it has to do with ohms and the gauge of the wire. if you have a low ohms then you can't use a small thin wire. because the more ohms the more resistance. if you have a low omhs on a thin wire it can cause the wire to heat up. posibly catch fire.
Bubba Rothschild is the name of the individual attending a party in Provence France while Sabrina (1995) that she tells David Larrabee about while attending his mother's lavish birthday party. There is no real life character named Bubba Rothschild - at least that is what the Rothschild family want us to believe. ;)
The unit that describes the difference in conduction between wires is typically the electrical conductivity or resistivity, which is measured in Siemens per meter or Ohm meters, respectively. This value indicates how well a material conducts electricity, with higher values indicating better conduction and lower values indicating higher resistance to the flow of electricity.
The resistance of ground rods typically ranges from 1 to 25 ohms, depending on factors such as soil conductivity, rod material, length, and installation method. Ideally, grounding systems should aim for a resistance of 5 ohms or less for effective grounding. However, in some cases, achieving lower resistance may require multiple ground rods or additional grounding techniques. Always consult local codes and standards for specific requirements.
I believe its like this but don't take my word for granted: R (resistance) = V (voltage) / I (amperes) The formula is R = V/I R = 110V / 10A R = ? R = 110/10 = 11 R = 11Ω Ω= omhs Hope this helped but as I said I'm not completely sure
