The jail and prison systems have lists of them. There addresses are usually not advertised or published. And, of course, law enforcement knows where they are.
Your local police department is ALWAYS a good place to start. They have lots of experience with helping people.
I have tried Google and searching the net, surprisingly I can not find much. One would think the tax paying public should have an easy way to find out how many and who, the parolees are, by state for certain heinous crimes such as murders. Considering the recidivism rates, it sure would be nice to be able to quickly check if the new neighbor down the street has a past history of murdering people.
All parolees do not have that information posted to the general public. If you or a family member have been a victim of a crime, inform your local Police Department of your need to know, as you perceive it. They will direct you accordingly.Most likely you will have to file a request with your State Dept of Corrections with a Freedom of Information request.
