To find length: Divide square footage by height; to find height: divide square footage by length.
Measure the length and height of thesign using a foot measure. Then multiply the lenght by the height and this will give you the square footage of the sign.
You measure its length and with and multiply the two. However, this will take no account of the height: the square footage in which you can stand, crawl or slide.
Sq ft- length X width Area- length x width x height
Rectangle is length times width and triangles are base times height divided by 2.
Length x width = square footage
The length times the height of the wall will give you the square footage of that wall. Do that for both the long and short walls, and multiply the result by two. If the room is square, just measure one wall, find the square footage, and multiply by four. Don't forget to measure the length and height of any doors and windows, and subtract the total from the area of the walls.
In order to calculate the square footage you need to find the length and the width of the room in feet. You multiply the length and the width to give you the square footage of the room
Square footage is two-dimensional, the product of length times width. Unless the shape is a square, the area by itself is not sufficient to definitively ascertain the dimensions.
Area of rectangle = Length x Breadth = 9x 9= 81sq feet Acc. to me a room has three dimensions length, breadth and height. If you know the area of the woom and length and breadth you can find height.
You must know the total square footage of the area you need siding for. Once you know the square footage, any sales outlet can help figure the amount of siding needed. The square footage can be calculated using the length of the wall multiplied by the height of the wall.
length x width
the height is the same as the length and width
