To find the anti theft code for a 2000 Mitsubishi Galant, you must visit a dealer. You must have the radio serial number, the radio part number, and the VIN.
unfortunatly, Audi has designed there radios to lock after a loss of power. they claim it's to prevent theft, however when you battery goes dead it locks up. the only way to get he code is to take it to the dealership at a $100 an hour charge and a minimum of 1 hour. My advice is to get an aftermarket radio

Radio code for a 96 Saturn SC2To get the radio code i called my dealer and he helped my find a code that is in the radio and then the dealer gave me my factory reset code for the radio.============================================== try this website. if not applicable, do some searching on the net ("gm radio code Saturn") until you find a site that doesn't charge for the code ... there are a few out there. good luck.http://www.teammiata.com/libs/radio-codes.htm
I believe it to be the same as my 2000 Bug. In your owners manual is a code to be entered into your radio to bring it back to life. If you can not find in your owners manual-try under your spare-that is where the dealership had to find my code to bring it back to life. Just enter the code & the radio should come back to life.
Your local dealer has to pull the radio and hook it to a computer to find the code. It cannot be done with the radio in the vehicle.
Unfortunately the code can not be retrieved from a working radio. If you can not find the code you have to get the serial number of the radio and call the dealer for the code.
It should be on the radio book that came with the car. there is a code on the back page if I remember correctly. also if there has been work done on it you may find the code on the radio itself.
