You need to go there first to get the sprayer, which along with the turpentine from Captain Crawfish's dream allows you to clean paintings in Black Widow's dream.

But you will also go there last, because you need the Diamond Drill from the Binary Bard's dream to get through the metal squares in the anthill. When you drill past the third and fourth levels, mostly blue ants, you will reach the bottom of the anthill where you can uncover the Golden Carrot totem.
