The reverse of taking it off
To change the EGR valve on a 2007 Honda Fit, first disconnect the negative battery terminal and remove any components obstructing access to the EGR valve, such as the intake manifold cover. Next, detach the EGR valve by unscrewing the bolts and disconnecting the electrical connector and vacuum line. Install the new EGR valve by reversing the removal process, ensuring all connections are secure. Finally, reconnect the battery and start the engine to check for proper operation.
Yes.
It should. Look at the EGR valve; it's on the drivers side of the head. If the EGR valve is the same, everything else should be easy to exchange.
Through the 90's, all SC2 engines were mostly interchangeable. There was a difference in the head, requiring the use of a different EGR valve. If the replacement engine does not use the same EGR valve, it is possible to create an adapter to use the older style EGR valve.
yes
I know on my DTI estate its either a 8 or 9 mil socket (Mines a 02 model) turn socket left (there is two bolts look like stars) disconnect black tube from old EGR gently pull old EGR out of its place. (Then do the whole process in reverse. ) I must stress in treating this EGR with care .(Make sure you replace the EGR in the same position of the old one.)
take your rocker cover off n behind you will see the valve fixed by 2 torx screwws, unplug the cable running into it first then take the valve out and vice-versa to get new one in.
how do I fit a petrol flap to a vauxhall meriva
The Geo Prism and Toyota Corolla were assembled in the same factory on the same assembly line using the same engines. The EGR valves should be virtually identical.
No it won't I'm afraid, they're just too different.
On a 1997 GMC Safari, the EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) hose routing involves connecting the EGR valve to the intake manifold. The hose should come from the EGR valve located on the engine's intake manifold and route to the EGR port in the intake, ensuring a secure fit to prevent leaks. It's important to check for any blockages or damages in the hose, as proper routing is essential for optimal engine performance and emissions control. Always consult a repair manual for specific diagrams and additional details.
Yes, it fits in jeep too
