You can't. The 1994 JGC has Quadra Trac, all the time 4 wheel drive. It should never go into 2 wheel drive. If it does, have your Jeep looked at immediately.

Check if heater hoses were removed they run from the front of the engine to the firewall on the passenger side. Hope it helps
I am having the same issue with my park lights on my 93 JGC. It definatley has something to do with the alarm/security system. Door ajar switches not giving correct message to alarm system or something along those lines.

I hade the same trouble with a 99 JGC with the 4.0 engine. I found it to be a solonoid inside the trans that kept it from shifting.
