NEVER give a cat medicine that is meant for a dog or vice versa. Giving an animal the wrong medication or wrong dosage (a cat will easily overdose on dog medicine) is likely to be fatal.
Take your cat to the vet. Prescribed medicine will be in the right dosage for the right animal.

∙ 14y agoThe kitten should be ok if it is only a sprain but if there is swelling of the paw then it is a sign that the paw has been broken somewhere .
To be safe it would be best to have the kitten examined by a veterinarian .
