I've changed injectors on my '96, with help from my mechanic. I would assume that the procedure is similar for your car.
It's a pretty direct job, but my best suggestion is to pick up a Haynes or Chilton manual. They are very good at showing and telling about injectors.
Check under the hood for an obvious fuel leak. You might an injector leaking.
fuel press. regulators often leak because the seals dry out. it is easy to replace the regulator and it should come with new seals.
Depends on where the leak is.
matters where the leak is at
replace the rubber o rings u may have to replace the injector if its leaking fuel through it
Yes, it's possible. I had two leaky injectors in my '96 Sunfire. Replaced the O rings to no avail. I ended up replacing the two injectors even though inspection showed no damage. The fuel leak was fixed.
someone told me $500+
one of my injector are leaking and can I fix that by replacing small o-ring? Thank you
The 1997 Pontiac Sun fire axle seal can leak because of age. A bad wheel bearing is the most common cause for an axle seal to leak.
I suppose if you had a leaky injector it could.
P0442 Code indicates Evaporative Emission System Leak detected (small leak). What are the causes? What components need to be repaired
