Although leather does stretch a little with use, the problem you've described sounds more like a foam core issue. Since you did not specify the location of the issue I am going to assume it is in the most common location… the seat and back. Polyurethane foam used for seating and back support, depending upon its weight and quality, can loose up to 20% of its original height. Additionally, the polyester wrap that surrounds the foam will loose approximately 50% of its height. Combined, these two problems can cause considerable aesthetical negatives on a piece of furniture. If comfort is not an issue then laminate 1-1 ½ " of aftermarket high-density foam to your existing foam cores. This will fill the vacancy within your leather casings and make a significant improvement on the ripples and wrinkles. If the problem is a combination of comfort and aesthetics then get an aftermarket foam core cut to size approximately 1-1 ½" thicker than your current foam cores.
