You put the action replay card in, turn on the DS, turn it off again, take the action replay card out and put Pokemon Pearl in. When Pearl starts, there will be a whole list of things you can do which aren't technically possible in the game. You will need action replay codes to activate the cheats, though.

Your action replay got melted what happened?
When you plug your action replay into your PC it gets very hot and if ou leave it in for too long it starts melting mine has an out of shape bit on it because of that so now have to shove mne in the ds card slot
How do you install the action replay software?
Do you mean on your DS lite/DSI/DSI XL or on the computer? The AR starts up automatically on your console. But if you mean the computer, you install with the Mini-CD that came in the package. If you have lost it, or accidentally thrown it out, return it to the store for a new Action Replay.
When you insert your Pokemon White after inserting your Action Replay it restarts the ds and starts as if there was no AR and the codes don't work?
I've been informed that you need to update the firmware to v. 1.71 however I have done that and I still get the same issue. I've heard that Pokemon White action replay might only work with the DSi version of the action replay :S, i hope I'm wrong but that might be it.

There is a much safer, easier way (found in your AR pocketbook). its called resetting. Turn off your console (with action replay DS inserted) and then turn it back on. as soon as the console boots/starts, hold down the buttons A and B at the same time. keep holding the down, then, as soon as you see the action replay ds license also hold down START and SELECT. You should be holding 4 buttons for at least 10 seconds or until action replay loads. If you try to see if there's anything there and there is, retry.
What do You do if your action replay gets to the spot where it starts writing programs when you click quick update and it says Failed to write files because not enough memory?

I'm afraid not! As long as can rember? Yes!, and it's called ACTION REPLAY u just put it in ur ds and it starts automatically,u put ur game in and select what cheats u want and press start(u can find ACTION REPLAY at any walmart!)
