I'm not sure if this will work with ipods but my mom's friend's son accidentally left his phone in his pants while it was in the washing machine so obviously his phone didn't work . So they decided to put it under some rice. About 2-3 days later it worked. We think it might be because that the rice probably absorbed the water until it was completely dry or you can always just put it over a heater I suppose?
