You would probly have to do something with the wires i bet you have a short somewhere if there only working sometimes

You will need to check the ground wires. A loose ground wire can cause the lights to work sometimes and sometimes not to work.
First, check the fuse box and replace the fuse for the indicator lights. If the lights still do not work then replace the dash bulb itself.

Are you saying your tail lights themselves do not work and only the brake lights work. If that is the case, check the fuse, and then check the tail light bulbs.

The dashboard indicator light might have a loose connection. The dashboard indicator light might have a corroded or loose ground wire.
sometimes when the lights blow out the fuse also blows out. check the fuse!!
The problem may be the electronic module that controls your daytime running lights. If there is a plug to the module, unplug it and the hi beam lights will work. The Hi Beam light indicator may not work now though until you replace the module.
I sprayed WD-40 on the steering column on the blinker and flasher holes on a 85 Sentra and they have worked ever since.
