You can not fix the odometer on the early Saturns. You must replace the whole instrument panel.
the fuel guage in my 1993 Saturn goes wiggling back and forth. how do i fix this problem?
To fix a gauge on a 1992 GMC Vandura, first check the fuse associated with the gauge to ensure it's not blown. If the fuse is intact, inspect the wiring and connections behind the gauge for any signs of damage or loose connections. You may also need to test the sending unit related to the gauge (like the fuel or temperature sending unit) for proper function. If these steps don’t resolve the issue, consider replacing the gauge itself.
Usually the cluster has failed. You will need a new one, or a used one that has the same mileage showing.
If the gauge is reading hot and the car is running normal temperatures, the water temperature sensor needs replaced.
To fix the fuel gauge on a 1992 Caprice, start by checking the fuel sender unit located in the fuel tank for proper function and connections. Inspect the wiring and connectors for any damage or corrosion, and ensure the ground connection is secure. If the sender is faulty, it may need to be replaced. Additionally, check the instrument cluster for any issues; sometimes, the gauge itself could be the problem.
Find out what's wrong and replace the broken part. It's either a fuse, the sending unit (in the tank) the gauge (in the dash) or a damaged wire or connector.
i have a 1993 saturn sc1.the relays in the sunroof keep the sunroof from working.anyway to fix it
remove trim around clocks, remove clocks, replace bulb in back. hope this helps
gas gauge sticks either full or empty This is a known problem with Chevy's that they will not recall on. I had same problem with my 2000 Blazer. Had to replace fuel pump / gauge assembly in tank. It took a couple of hours to do, but was worth the headache having a gauge that works now, No more running out of gas or watching mileage.
digital cluster may need replaced
Stick a peace of wire threw the hole of the mileage reset button and push it over.
Your thermostat could be stuck open. Otherwise, you could have an electrical problem with your gauge. If the needle raises off of the resting point near cold a little while driving, it might be your thermostat is stuck. this would probably hurt gas mileage too. its an easy and cheap fix if it is a thermostat. Might also be a bad temperature sensor. Forgot about that. That's easy too.
