I had problem with 88 S10 - there is a wiper motor ground screw ( under hood, left side of wiper motor/gear housing) that grounds a strap coming out of the motor/gear housing to the fire wall. It became corroded or loose. It is a sheet metal screw/bolt that relies on the firewall to hold it tight. If that doesn't do it, you can check for 12 volts coming into housing electrical connector with wiper switch on. Also, try manually pulling wipers up the windshield from rest position( there is an internal off connection which stops your wipers after they complete last stroke.)
The 1987 Chevrolet El Camino takes 18" replacement windshield wipers on both sides front.
There isn't a reset for the wipers.
If your windshield wipers are not working, you should check your owners manual. It could be a fuse or another easy fix.
you can pull them out by prying them out with a large screwdriver.
the book i have for my 87 says 17. but it seems to be shorter so i have a 19 and it covers the windshield
could be blown fuse or short in wiring
I doubt it
The wiper linkage is bad. Or the wiper arm stud bushings (where the arms attach to the cowl) are rotted out.
under the hood near the wipers
I have an '87 Cutlass Supreme Broughm and my rear-defog doesnt work either but my wipers are working. My power door locks, left signal light and power seat do not work either. My 4-way hazards do work though. I am hoping that someone can tell me which fuse this might be,
Are the door interchangeable on an 1987 chevy truck and an chevy blazer 1988
