The only fix not involving removing the door panel is to use plastic and tape to fill the hole. The only fix not involving removing the door panel is to use plastic and tape to fill the hole.
The door latch will need replaced.
Yes, it has one. Is there a question?
blend door failure is a common problem on 97+ Jeep Cherokee
You need to open the handle from behind the panel. There is a plastic unit that does the contact with a small washer. I inserted another tinny washer to tighten it a little bit, it was too loose inside and it didn't open the door properly with the key. I had to wait and struggle for like 5 minutes sometimes. Hope that helps !
you go to the parts store and buy new locks for your doors.
9 out of 10 times the handel on the outside came unhooked and you have to go on the inside and open it by bending out the plastic and reaching down and opening it with the mettal rod atleast that's what i had to do.
Take off the door panel. the plastic clip that holds the metal rod to the door handle came off or broke off. replace it.
you just replace it like other cars, get an car enginner to fix it.
It can be as easy as replacing a fuse or you may have to buy and install new switches
The plastic on the inner handle has broke. One of the plastic gears just replace the actual handle (hard to find) get at a junk yard.
Check the wiring in the door jamb area where it bends and flexes
