∙ 8y agoBad Eggs are glitches you can get by using the two most common GameShark codes: the "Shiny Pokemon code" and the "Steal Other Trainers' Pokemon" codes. Bad Eggs are only found in the Pokemon Sapphire, Pokemon Ruby, Pokemon Emerald Pokemon Fire Red and Pokemon Leaf Green versions.

OMYGOD! why do you want a badegg, they mess up your game, besides i know how cause i accidentally got one. If you use action replay/gameshark and use all the cheats on there at once, a bad egg appears first in your party, and in the pc. if ya get one tho, youll have to start over, they corrupt your data and there is no way to get rid of them!!! oh and its possible now to get bad eggs in diamond and pearl.

Many people are saying that you get a Bad Egg from using cheats but I just got one and I have NEVER used a cheat in my time playing this game.
I have played on this file for a very long time (i.e. Battle Tower beaten, Contests beaten, Pokedex completed) and I did it all by playing, not cheating. So I don't know why I have gotten this egg.
Well, here are sme facts about mine:
1. It doesn't hatch
2. It doesn't delete Pokemon
3. It creates Pokemon (I have received a Hitmonlee and a Wurmple)
4. It multiplies all the time so I've had to make a "Bad Egg" box in my PC
Basically, for me, it is useless.
I know how you feel.I have a few Bad Eggs on my Diamond version that do absolutely nothing except take up space.Its so annoying!Then, a month or so later, I received a fighting egg from the Pokemon museum thingy.
WHY WONT IT HATCH?!?!?!?!?!

actually you can im guessing you have ar as most bad eggs are achieved by excessive hacking i don't condem you for this though :)
get pokesav and put the egg/s in your party and use the change party Pokemon codes
though if it has multiplied it may end up like painting the fourth bridge (by the time you get to the last one its already spread to all your new Pokemon)
