I presume you mean by fixing the belt you mean you want to change it. Firstly turn the crank shaft pulley so that the engine is at top dead centre (TDC) then turn the steering to the right which gives you access under the front wing to the crank shaft pulley bolt. Put the car in Top Gear and have someone step on the brake pedal while you loosen the bolt using a 19mm socket on an extension. Next, remove the drive belts for the alternator and the Power Steering by loosening the adjusting bolts on these items. Take off the water pump pulley by removing the 4 10mm bolts which are in the recess at the centre of the pulley. This gives you access to the plastic timing belt cover bolts. Remove the timing cover bolts and the timing belt cover. Slacken the bolt in the timing belt tensioner to release the tension and remove the belt. Refitting is a reverse of the above procedure. Use a screwdriver or something similar to push down on the timing belt tensioner to tension the belt. The belt tension should be such that you should be able to twist the belt at its longest section by no more than 90 degrees.
