I think the only way to fix this problem is to completely delete the game from your computer and all files relating to it. Then reinstall the game from the mine craft website. Make sure you save your worlds on a separate memory storage device before you do this.
First of all there are many ways to fix minecraft and many reasons why Minecraft freezes now here is one thing you can do
1.Go to the search bar and type %appdata%
2.Go to roaming and go to .minecraft folder
3.Copy your saves file and place it somewhere safe
4.Delete The .minecraft folder
5.Open launcher and let it force update and play
NOTE:
*If you have mods installed you will have to install it again after updating
*If this doesn't work try re-installing you Java or Restart your computer
*If it still doesn't work after you have done the 3 things you might want to go to a forum where there are MC experts.
Check if your minecraft.jar is still there. If it isn't, open the minecraft launcher, press 'Options' and click 'Force Update'. Now you're ready to play.
when you open minecraft you enter your username and password in the username and password box. you hvae to register on the minecraft website
You go to a website called technic.net and you then download the technic launcher. After that you can open the launcher, select tekkit, login and play.
It is already out. If you want to update your game to it. Open you Minecraft Launcher, click options, and then click force update.
It's just the way it is
Updating minecraft on the computer is very easy. When you open the launcher and log in, it should download the new version automatically (if you confirm it). Obviously, this requires an internet connection. The only difference is updating to 1.6.1. This version requires you to visit the minecraft website, go to the downloads section, and download the new launcher. Then, when you want to play minecraft, you open the new launcher, login, download the update automatically, and play.
Just sign in using the Minecraft launcher (The little icon on your desktop or wherever). It updates automatically. If it doesn't, when you open the Minecraft launcher, click options, Force update and sign in. To see if it worked, look at the bottom left corner of Minecraft to see if it the version your looking for.
You insert an empty disc into your PC or CPU and open your downloads folder (or wherever you put the minecraft launcher) and click and drag the minecraft launcher to the empty disc drive located usually on the side of the libraries organizer under "computer".
When you open minecraft.exe, the folder is automaticly created. To access it, press start --> run and type "%appdata%". then you should see the folder .minecraft. That's the folder.
This doesn't happen to me. Did you try looking in your properties and seeing what was running? Maybe that's what's causing it.
You go to their website (google it) and download the Technic Launcher (try using the .jar, the .exe didn't work for me). Once you open the launcher, choose your modpack, in this case Tekkit, put in your Minecraft or Mojang account information, and hit login. This creates a brand new directory that won't mess with the minecraft.jar that is launched from the vanilla launcher:
Go to where you downloaded the file and click on it and it should open the launcher and it will download the Minecraft game. It should only take about 15 minutes depending on how fast your internet connection is.
