I don't recommend fixing a leaky heater core. Replacing with a new one is your best bet. Heater cores sell for aprox $40 and labor depends on the vehicle.
you have to remove the dash to get to it, it is well worth it to pay someone else to do it, it took me 2 days to do mine
The polaris ranger speeds are, 500engine,40. 700engine,40-50. 800engine,55mph.
Replace the heater core under the dash board. Fairly easy job if no A/C. But first before you start this, see if is there a coolant leak inside the cab? Usually onto the floor mat and/or what appears to be vapor exiting defrost windshield vent (leaves greasy like film on glass. If above is not happening then check thermostat for proper operation and heater hose connections for leaks. Heater cores are usually no more than $40-50. You should be able to buy at after market auto supply store.
I have a 94 pu 4x4 and live in Red Deer Alberta, and went one winter without a block heater. Not again. I looked into it, and the amount of work required to install one is way to much work. You need to rip out a lot of 4x4 components to get at the correct freeze plugs and then try to have the block heater seal the coolant. I suggest just purchasing a magnetic pan heater. About the same price as a block heater but all you need to do is stick some high-temp silicone to it and attach it to your oil pan and you're done. Mine works awesome and never have a problem starting after a -40 night
0W-40
Because 40=(4x10) 4x4=16 10x10=100 so 16x100=1600
4 x 40 = 160 if you know your 4 times tables, then 4x4=16 and then add a zero at the end. if it was 4x400, then 4x4=16 and because there is 2 zeros, then you add 2 zeros at the end which is 1600.
