If the heater fails to "blow," then the fan motor (situated on the fire wall inside the engine compartment) is disconnected or has failed and should be reconnected or replaced. But, before either of those, check the heater fan fuse, replace if blown, and re-try the heater.
The most common reason for the heater not to blow hot air is that the radiator fluid is low; Check that first. Then check the heater hoses for kinks or blockages (the hoses must be removed to check for blocks). Another possibility is that your cabin air filter is completely blocked (unlikely, but easy to check, so do so). It is also possible that the airflow damper(s) under the dash are malfunctioning, so, failing all else, check that as well.
my Chevy venture van's heater speed control stopped working so i don't get any air flow out of my front vents...how do i fix that.
Most like a duct problem. Check cables behind control to ensure smooth operation of all doors. The heater core is hot so something is blocking the air or it is being channeled improperly.
When a car runs, it produces heat as a wasted product. This heat is then used to heat up air and blow it at you. This heat will be created even when the heater is off, so using the heater should not lower gas mileage.
It could need freon. and you can do it most auto part stores carry it so does walmart
your heater core hoses could be plugged up and not letting much hot anti-freeze into the heater core then when you try to blow alot of air through it it cools the warm air off too much and you get not so warm air. try a cooling sytem flush
Is the temperature gauge going to warm (middle)? If not, it is the thermostat. If so, its the heater core, which is clogged. You want to make sure that the your heater core gat air blow across see if you get cold air coming out from the event while you set it to heat
You have a loose connection. So when you hit a bump the connection makes contact, turning on the blower.
This happens because the heating wires heat up the air around them. This air is less denser than the surrounding, and so it rises up through the top of the heater. If the paper decorations are above the heater, they will definitely flutter because the air is coming through the top.
that heppend to my car i had to finaly replace the heater blower so it could be the same thing
Air conditioners blowing directly on rabbits are a very bad thing. It will cause colds, pneumonia and other respiratory problems. Rabbits need to be cool in the summer so you must fix it so the air does not blow directly on the rabbits.
I have a 99 bravada, and have had no heat for over a year... until today. I was told by the dealership that I needed a new thermostat, so I had one put in last winter... that did nothing. Today, I had the heater core flushed, and Viola! I have so much heat I had to open my window, and I live in western NY! good luck! Just blow compressed air through the heater core
