When your iPod is frozen, all you have to do is this: Hold down the home button, and the button on top of your iPod for about 5 seconds, until the 'Apple' company icon appears. Let it load, and your iPod should be back to normal.
You need to remove it then reinstall it

buy another one or go to where they fix cellphones
Restart the ipod. Hold the menu and center button at the same time for 6 seconds. If that does not work... Take it back To the store.
I have tried turning it on and offf but it is still stuck. If anyone has an idea please tell me at blogwithsam.edubolgs.org!!!
What I would do is first, connect it to your computer. Then, restore your ipod. (I know, it really sucks to do that.) Once done, put all your songs/vids back on.If that doesn't work, call apple. (Only if you have ipod protection plan.) It should be straight forward from there!
contact apple.
I usually just turn it off and on and it works. If you can't even do that, then plug it into the computer using the charging cord or plug it into a charger even if it already is charged. Your iPod should work after that.
No, you cannot. For that to be possible, your ipod would have to be connected to the internet, which only occurs when your iPod is connected to your computer. Unfortunatly, the iPod now belongs to the thief.
