Most PS2 are cheaper to replace than take somewhere to fix. It is already a used PS2 you have and there are lots of people getting rid of there used PS2 systems at Ebay and there will be more when the holidays are over in a few months. You might even find this a good time to spend $300 on the New 320 GB undefeated 3 PS3 bundle or 350 on the Move Bundle. If not Used PS2s start around $20 or $50 at retail stores selling refurbished models and they may offer you a trade in credit
