There is no way to flag questions for improvement currently on Answers.com. A signed-in member can flag an answered question by using the "Flag" option on the Question tools menu.
You can "Report abuse" on questions that don't have answers but you shouldn't use that tool just for flagging something as not good enough.
Yahoo! Answers is also a good site, other than WikiAnswers. But I recommend WikiAnswers over Yahoo! Answers. WikiAnswers is the best Q&A site and it has the best community. Yahoo! Answers isn't always correct, as well, and you cannot change the answers or spellings on there. On WikiAnswers, you can edit about everything to make the site better. Yahoo! Answers you can't, and it is a poor Q&A site.
WikiAnswers is designed to provide useful answers to people's questions. We do have a section for jokes and riddles; however, we will not use up space with questions that add no value. A poor question is one that has no useful content or is designed to waste time. If you believe you have seen a poor or useless question on WikiAnswers, please do not answer it and contact a site supervisor or write to support @ answers.com.
Because there are some people that are on WikiAnswers that only like to vandalize or give poor answers, but there are just as many people here that like to give good answers and to stop vandals.
Maybe they are in a rush or just made some typos!!
You do not choose the best answer. Unlike other sites such as Yahoo answers, Wikianswers trusts it's users to give one very good answer. However if someone reads the answer and either disagrees with it, or wants to add something to it, they can by going to 'Improve answer'. By allowing collaberation the best possible answer can be achieved. If you see an answer which you feel is poor or badly written, you can flag for improvement and these are usually fixed. If there is an answer which contains rude words, or is just garbage you can report abuse, at the top of the screen, or in the community forum.
If you mean a question that is trashed it is to protect users from questions that might be considerecd inapproriate, and since there is no reason for it to be answered there is no reason to see it.
Because of some poor questions like this one.
Because the answers are all from people and if people are involved there is also a level of error which must be taken with it.The answers on wiki answers improve with time! Questions that have only been here a short while will have worse answers than those that have been here for a long time and have been revised many times.
