Have confidence- just like a forward flip!Careful, there... ONLY practice with a spotter, in a gym, with a 6" thick pad, until you can perform 5 or 6 in a row. THEN and only then, switch to a thinner pad, and practice without a spotter. While it IS all about confidence, it is very to break your neck performing this simple maneuver, which is also called a 'back handspring'.P.s: A back FLIP would be the reverse of a forward flip.
