Ok finally figured this one out. The car has seat catches as normal but they are hidden away on the other side of the boot. one at either side of the car for each catch. ~Pull each catch towards the centre of the car and hey presto, the rear seat folds down.
Took me nearly an hour to figure this one out. Awkward Ford PPL!
