By using a usb cable and personal computer, you insert your phone on the personal computer with the USB cable and simply use the format from your own operating system.
Try to connect it with the computer and Format the card. Now insert it in your phone. It will work.
Format the memory card and see
Hi, your KS360 is recognising the memory card, but the format of the card is wrong for the phone. You can either talk to someone at the store you bought it from or but a new memory card. I had the same problem and switched memory cards. I bought the 8gb San Disk Micro Disk Hc 2. My original card was 2gb, but 8gb was the only one they had left. But they do make ones of 2gb, 4gb, 8gb and 16gb. Hope this helps! if this does not work : 1.go to settings 2.then memory status 3.external memory 4.format 5.0000 hope this works!
It depends on what media formats your phone can accept. If your phone only accept mp3 files then they would have to be in mp3 format. Some phones can take mpeg, mp4 and divx formats.
YES, as long as they use the same type example- micro SD. They will work i have used my micro in over 10 phones from lg, nokia, samsung, Motorola, and htc and has worked fine, only one phone kinda gave me problems was a new touchscreen lg it wouldn't show alot of my files. the best way to ensure compatibility is to copy all of the files onto your computer and format the memory card when you put it in the new phone and then plug the phone in to your computer and replace all of your files back onto the memory card( you may have to actually pick all of your files out of the folders that your OLD phone made because the folders may have a format that could interfere with viewing the files on your NEW phone) #########ATTN;WARNING DO NOT FORMAT YOUR MEMORY CARD IF YOU DO NOT HAVE YOUR FILES BACKED UP BECAUSE YOUR CARD IS WIPED CLEAN DURING FORMATTING. YOU WILL LOSE EVERYTHING.######
The reason the phone reads 1 gigabit of memory on the sd card when it is a 4 gigabit sd card is because it needs to be reformatted.
i had the problem too...my hp phone memory is full but my memory card still have more space..
Only if you format the card or delete them, it's not exactly like losing something in a big bag.
Yes. Of course. A MicroSD card is like a hard drive of a phone. You can store any files in it if the phone supports that format. For example Nokia 6600 and Nokia 6303 have a memory slot; you can store pics in the phone by the memory card which can be viewed on the phone but if you store mp3 files only the Nokia 6303 will play the files because the Nokia 6600 hasn't got a mp3 player.
Check the instruction book that came with your phone. IF the phone accepts memory cards, there will be a tiny slot somewhere on the handset (usually protected by the battery cover. You need to make sure (a) your phone can accept a memory card and (b) that you choose the right one.
No - the only way to increase your phone's memory - is to add a memory card (if the handset supports them).
There could be several reasons why you can't see the pictures on the microSD card. First, the lg260 only recognizes the older microSD cards up to 4GB (it is hard to find these larger than 2GB). It will not recognize the newer microSDHC (high capacity) cards that are 4GB, 8GB, 16GB or larger. Second, you need to format the microSD card using the lg260 phone or it will not create the correct directories so your phone knows where the pictures reside. To format the card, do the following: Menu -> Settings -> Memory -> Card Memory and format should be one of the options. If you copy pictures via Bluetooth to the phone they should end up in the right directory. However, if you transfer the pictures using a card reader/writer attached to your computer, you will need to make sure you copy them to the correct directory on the card. Or lastly, maybe the card is bad. Anyway, good luck!
