In order to reformat (restore to factory settings) you need to do a clean install (using an installation disk) However, I would recommend backing up important documents, if you don't own an external hard drive, I suggest this: http://gdisk.sourceforge.net/
That depends. If the hard drive you want to reformat is not your main OSX drive, you goto finder, applications, utilities, and disk utilites, select the drive and format.
if it is the main system drive, you will need an osx install DVD. boot the disc, start setup and run the disc utilities from osx setup.
applications<utilities<disk utility click the disk you want to format and go to the erase tab. there u can select the format and how many times you want it to erase
You want to reformat the hard disk? Use Disk Utility in the Utilities folder which is in the Applications folder.
Thanks bro.
MacBook Pro is the best you can get

MacBook Pro!
The hard drive should install and format just fine. However, if you're looking to use the pre-installed Mac OS X and software from the newer MacBook Pro on the older MacBook, it probably won't work well, if at all.
you probably should get the MacBook. they are cheaper than the MacBook Pro. now, if you want a bigger screen, then get a MacBook Pro.
There is no age limit for getting a MacBook Pro.
MacBook Pro was created on 2006-01-10.
The best place to buy a macbook pro is apple.com.
The MacBook Pro cases are much larger and sturdier the the MacBook Air cases.
The Macbook Pro was upgraded ,as well as the iMac.
