We have a grapefruit tree in our yard and had over 200 grapefruit this year. While we gave many away, we didn't want to throw them out or waste so I juiced them and froze the juice. I used leftover plastic containers however some of the ones I used turned out to be a poor choice. When I ran out of V8 and old Tropicana OJ containers, I began using liter coke bottles and water bottles. The water bottles seem to have reacted with the grapefruit juice in the freezer because the juice tasted awful--it had a chemical taste. I am going to thaw the liter cola bottles and see how they fared. I got about 10 liters of grapefruit so it appears much of my work may have been in vain. I haven't found any good information on this topic but will keep looking. This is just my own experience.
You can make however many preserved lemons you like, but roughly 3 will fit per pint-sized jar. Thoroughly clean the lemons. ... Trim the nubs off both ends of each lemon. ... Put one teaspoon of salt into the cavity of each lemon. Place one teaspoon salt into the bottom of the jar.
We freeze fresh squeezed orange juice all the time. I suspect grapefruit juice is the same.
Freezing fresh squeezed juice in an ice tray is indeed the best way to freeze fresh-squeezed juices, which are essential to quality cocktails. I just wanted to note that a standard size ice cube is approximately 1oz juice, which makes measuring for cocktails especially easy. Zap a cube in the microwave for 30 seconds to thaw.
Not much longer than 1 week.

Sprite does not have grapefruit juice. There is a grapefruit juice which has sprite in it. You can add sprite to nearly any drink to make a spritzer.
No. Some medications give instructions not to have grapefruit juice with the medicine. I know statins are explicit about not having grapefruit juice.
