The above phrase, aside from being spelled wrong (maricón), is an incorrect translation as maricón is a derisive word for gays. To say that somebody is homosexual in a value-neutral way, you say "Él es homosexual" or "Él es gay."

If you are instead searching for en expression to say that a person is lame or uninteresting, calling a person "gay" in Spanish does not achieve this. The proper expression would be "Es tan aburrido."
