You can't catch this Pokemon in diamond or pearl. You need to migrate a magmar, and ditto in from Pokemon leafgreen version. (You cannot get magmar in firered) Once they have migrated, put them both in daycare. After a little patience, an egg will turn up in daycare. This egg will hatch into your magby.
P.S In leafgreen, you catch magmar in the grass in Mt. Ember, and you can catch Lv. 30 ditto deep in the Pokemon mansion, on the island South from Pallet town.
Hope this helped :D
Magby is the Fire type baby Pokemon that evolves into Magmar. In Pokemon Diamond, wild Magby may be encountered on Route 227.
Magby evolves at Level 30.
You get it by capturing a magby in your Pokemon Diamond or Pearl. You do the insertion trick with Pokemon Leafgreen, and you can find Magby on route 227 and on Stark Mountain. In Diamond, Magby have a magmatizer about 5% of the time. In Peral, Magby have a magmatizer about 50% of the time.
lemons
Magby requires Level 30 to evolve into Magmar and then trade it while holding the Magmarizer to evolve Magmar into Magmortar in Pokemon Diamond/Pearl. Magby can be found on Route 227 in Pokemon Diamond.
You can't. On Diamond, Pearl and Platinum there is a 5% chance that Magby will hold the Magmarizer.
put leaf green in SLOT 2 and Pokemon diamond in SLOT 1 and catch a Magby in route 227 (you must have a national pokedex to catch one and the wild magby may not have it!)Joe7596
yes the is not one
in leafgreen well that's what i heard.if you do not have leafgreen then i am not the person to ask
First you have to find a Magby and evolve it and then trade that evolve Pokemon and it will evlove -.-'
To get it, you have to catch a Magby in the wild. You can catch it in Route 229 or in Stark Mountain by inserting a Leafgreen version into your gameboy. Magby has a magmorizer 50% of the time in Pokemon Pearl, and 5% of the time in Diamond.
Use a slugma or magby. Put the slugma/magby next to the egg in the party screen. They know Flame Body, which is know to make eggs hatch faster.
