You cannot get Celebi in the American version of Pokémon Colosseum. Japan was also to receive it in the Japanese version of Pokémon Colosseum because they had included a bonus disc that would have unlocked Celebi as an in-game download however Nintendo of America opted to go with a Pokémon Bonus Disc that would download a Jirachi to American versions of Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire.

You can't catch Celebi in Pokémon Colosseum. It's available in the game as a reward but the US can't access it because it requires a special bonus disc in order to activate it.

The thing is you can't catch him in Pokemon Colosseum...But listen to this: If you have a Gamecube and a gcn-gba cord and Pokemon Sapphire or Ruby gba game and a gba when you join the Mystery Event Club in Petalburg City, if you unlock the Hex event you get to catch Celebi... when you catch Celebi during the Hex event you put him into your Party Pokemon then if you have unlocked the Pokemon trade system in Pokemon Colosseum trade Celebi to Pokemon Colosseum from Ruby or Sapphire...then you have Celebi in Colosseum. You can also get Celebi from the Japanese bonus disc for Pokemon Colosseum.that's for jirachi not celebi

Celebi*Japanese Colosseum only - People who preordered Colosseum in Japan received a bonus disc where they can get Celebi. In the English version, Celebi was replaced by Jirachi.*Journey Across America - In 2006, Nintendo held a tour across the US where people could download many rare Pokemon, including Celebi.you have to wait for the Nintendo event next month.

Celebi cannot be captured officially in any English game. In order to get it in Pokemon FireRed you will have to obtain it by trade. It has been given away in promotional events as well.In the Japanese version of Pokemon Colosseum you can obtain Celebi by purifying all 48 shadow Pokemon and then using the bonus disk. This however only works for a Japanese game. Also, in the Japanese versions of Pokemon Crystal a GS ball could be obtained through the Pokemon Mobile System and when put on the shrine in Ilex Forest Celebi would appear. In the English version of Pokemon Crystal a game shark or other cheating device could be used to create the GS ball and gain Celebi.See links at left for information on obtaining Celebi. When you preordered Colosseum in America, you got a bonus disc that came with Jirachi. The Japanese version of this bonus had Celebi on it instead of Jirachi. So your two choices are to buy a Japanese bonus disc somewhere or wait for a Nintendo Event. It's not possible to get celebi in firered the only legit way is to receive one from the special disc of Pokemon colosseum but only the Japanese version of it that is. You will need to cheat otherwise.
