I got it to work by clicking:
Start Button (or whatever it's now called in Vista)
All programs
Sierra
Pharaoh & Queen of the Nile
Right-click the Pharaoh & Queen of the Nile icon
Click properties
Click Compatibility Tab
Tick Run this program in compatibility mode for:
Select Windows 2000 from the drop-down menu
Tick Run this program as an administrator
Click OK
Now when you run the program, click "Allow" (if you have User Access Control turned on, which is default with Vista) and away you go!
