first you must complete the story at least once...once you do, go to extras on the main menu...then go to map...then choose the file you completed...the file should say -- epilogue --...the file should say creature campaign every time you go to it from now on...this allows you to unlock certain enemies in the game to fight for your party...once you're on the map go to lagdou ruins...complete each level until you get to level 5...once you beat level 5, king Hayden will join your party

You can't make enemies your allies on Fire Emblem. If you use the control enemy glitch, then you can control them, but you can't make them your allies.
They "die" or they're wounded so you can't use them for the rest of the game. This feature is very popular in the Fire Emblem series.
