well you cant nesseserally get him fom the bomb-omb painting but you can find a Mario hat to make your character look like Mario but if you want to unlock him all you have to do is get at least 8 stars then go to the character selection room there should be another door go in it then you will see another door that has a star and an 8 on it.after getting 8 stars go inthat door and you should see a painting of Mario.jump in it. then get to the end of the course and defeat the boss then go to the character room again and go to the Mario door and use the key you gotfrom the boss
