Go to petalburgh city and go into the pokemon center there will be a guy next to the pc you will have to write stuff(mystery gift is ecxiting)then he will say you are part of the mystery event club then when you save at the begging under new game there will be mystery event but you will need a wireless addapter to make it work.

There is no mystery gift in sapphire, only on emerald. You can say mytery event is exciting to unlock the mystery event.
