Alrite click mystery gift, then click Nintendo wfc but u need wi-fi connection(you do this at home) then it will look to see if you have wi-fi and then it should give you yellow forest (it is on your pokewalker) then you go to a poke mart and a guy will give you yellow forest and then you go there on your pokewalker and poof u see a pikachu( i did this on a Saturday, April 3,2010)
You get it the same way you do in FireRed and Leafgreen, you catch it in Viridian Forest in viridian forest, walk around and press y before a wild battle starts pikachu is in route 12 in kanto or if you go to mystery gift you can get the yellow forest route for your pokewalker and catch him there
First you have to have Pal Park unlocked (You unlock it the same way you unlock the National Pokedex). Second of all, make sure you've saved your game, then turn it off. Stick FireRed in the Gameboy Advance game slot of the DS. Turn the game back on. After clicking start when Ho-oh appears on the screen, you should see your save file character's name. Scroll down the list until you see the option to Migrate from fire red. Click that option and choose 6 Pokemon to transfer from FireRed to HeartGold (Note: You can't return any of the Pokemon back to FireRed, also none of the Pokemon can have a move that is recognized by FireRed as an HM move). Then go to your save file, and once you get in, go to Pal Park and use the Park balls to catch your migrated Pokemon.
Another way to get Pokemon from FireRed, is to Dongle. What that means is that you just find wild Pokemon in patches of grass you normally wouldn't find them in in HG. In order to do that, you first make sure that your DS is off, then Place FireRed in the same slot mentioned in the last paragraph. After that, you turn your game back on, select your normal file, and go to certain patches of grass depending on which Pokemon you are searching for.
That's pretty much all there is to it.
In Heart Gold, in Fuscha City (spelling?), where the Safari Zone in Fire Red was, there is a Pal Park. To do the transfer, you MUST have a DS, not a DSi, for you must have both games in at once. Talk to the guy in the Pal Park, and he will guide you through the process.
There are a ton of things to do before you can complete Pokemon Heartgold:
There is also so much more, but these are the main parts.

No, it is not possible to access the Hoenn region in either SoulSilver or HeartGold. However, you can catch Pokemon from Hoenn. On Wednesday, the Pokemon march station is a Hoenn sound. To get the Hoenn Pokemon all you have to do is set your Pokegear radio onto the Pokemon march station on Wednesday after you have defeated Red.
You cannot get to Hoenn in Heartgold as it is a remake of the generation 2 game, Pokemon Gold and the only regions available in Heartgold are Johto and Kanto. You can however, obtain one of the three Hoenn starters by visiting a man from Hoenn at the Silph Co. building in Saffron City.
