You level up by playing Puzzles, especially the Daily Challenge and your monsters favorite puzzle (you can find this on your monsters profile).
Be sure to keep your monster happy! Feed your monster its favorite food and visit it every day.
The only way you can get ALL the trophies, Is to work your way through the levels, By working hard to earn rox and spending them on your monster, TRY TO KEEP YOUR MONSTER HEALTHY!

To get a higher level you can leave messages on Pin Boards and ask friends to visit your room.
Letting people put you as "best friend" on their friend tree will help you a lot.
