If you're meaning a sort of remote desktop from your desktop PC onto your smarphone, it really depends upon the capabilities of the smartphone you have. Some windows mobile operating systems allow you to access a limited number of features of the remote desktop in the windows operating system. Other smartphone systems may be used by using commercial software from vendors such as Go2mypc.
The smartphone is continuing growing and out selling the pc. You can do anything on the smartphone that you can do on a pc. The big difference is the portability.
