First you have to buy one from a gift store and it has to have a secret code with it or else it won't work. To adopt a webkinz you go to www.webkinz.com and click on LOG IN if you already have an account and it will load and you put your username and password in the correct place and at the bottom of the screen it will say Begin to play/ Change Password / or Adopt a new pet. Click on that and It will take you through the whole process. If you don't have a current webkinz account, when you first get on webkinz.com click on New Member and you will create an account and have a chance to enter your pet's secret code and you will get there. You can't get a webkinz without a secret code. You can also get virtual pets from select packs of trading cards. to get a webinz you have to first but one at a store. some places that carry them are: hallmark, target, justice just for girls, and a lot of little gift shops. most of the time you will know a store is selling webkinz because they might stick a sticker on their doors saying "come on in! we sell webkinz!" or something like that. when you get your webkinz (which are usually about 12-16 dollars for a big kinz, and 8-12 dollars for a lil kinz) log onto www.webkinz.com and click on 'new member'. it will bring up a penguin sitting at a desk. fill out the information on the clipboard. and then it will tell you to type in the code on your webkinz's tag. enter that in and you'll have your very own webkinz pet! you can also buy webkinz at the estore (on the home page). or get them through webkinz trading cards (which you can usually get where webkinz are sold). you can decorate your own house, play games, make friends, and have lots and LOTS of FUN! ;D
