Access is available to the person on the certificate, spouse, immediate family members, and authorized legal guardian or agent.
You will need to provide valid photo ID, such as a driver's license, state ID card, or employee ID card.
You can request a birth certificate in person at the state vital records office in Atlanta or any county vital records office. The current search fee, which includes 1 certified copy is $25, plus $5 for any additional certificates ordered at the same time. Payments must be by certified check or money order.
